Dear Church Family,
Sunday Live Service
We are hosting our second outdoor service since the shut-down. You are welcome to come and join us in worship at 10:00 am. We will have some folding chairs available, but we recommend that you bring your own chairs. Please bring a Bible and also be prepared for the sunny weather. You can also attend but remain in your car. If you are not staying in your car and do not struggle with mobility, we ask that you park in the flea market parking by the Bally Community Center. No childcare is available for the service. After the service, the new addition will be open to allow people to see the progress. Please bring a mask if you plan to enter the building. We are excited about gathering together in the name of Jesus.
Sunday Online Service
To watch the pre-recorded worship service, there is a link at buttervalleycc.org, or you can go directly to YouTube.com. Search “Butter Valley Community Church,” and the new video along with past messages can be found on Youtube. You may choose to subscribe to the Church’s YouTube page. There is also a new Children’s Video that will be posted. Links to the services are also shared on the Butter Valley Community Church Facebook page.
We are hosting a Church Fellowship Zoom Meeting, Sunday, May 24, at 1:00 pm. Hopefully the new time allows more people who attended the service to be a part of the meeting. The link can be found on Wednesday’s email. If you would like to join but you do not receive the church email, please contact Pastor Mark or Amy Hager.
Youth Group will be held outside this week from 6:30-8:30 pm on a day to be announced.
We are concluding our weekly call for using Wednesdays as a Day of Prayer and Fasting. Hopefully, these Wednesdays served as a beneficial and meaningful spiritual practice to join in together. We are hosting a Church Prayer Zoom Meeting on Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. The link was on the weekly email, please contact Pastor Mark or Amy Hager if you need the link.
For giving, there will be a barrel in which your envelopes can be dropped at the in person service. Online giving is available on our website at http//www.buttervalleycc.org under the drop-down menu “Resources.” You can also mail checks to the church office at BVCC, PO Box 97, Bally, PA 19503.
Fabric Face masks are available at the church. Disposable N95 masks are also provided. You can find them under the portico in front of the entrance doors to the sanctuary. They are in a plastic bin sitting on a table. Masks will be available for the in person service.
The Elder Team plans to meet in person with masks and social distancing on Tuesday, May 26, at 7 pm.
